News: 2nd Year FMP

My FMP ‘Dear Little Kiah’ was a project inspired by my childhood, made to indulge my inner child. I crocheted together towelling material and edged it with stripes creating the ‘Quacket’, and it only felt right to create a little duckie friend in true KraftsByKiah style 🐥

Mum got roped into becoming my photographer for a shoot in the bath inspired by one of my favourite pictures of baby Kiah at bathtime 🫧

The quacket is made from towelling as it is a material I find comforting and reminds me of being cuddled by my Grandmas and Mum after swimming in the sea, paddling in the pool or splashing around in the bath 🛁

The final part of my fmp outcome for ‘Dear Little Kiah’ was fully crocheted dungarees inspired by playtime and building blocks with lots of shapes and colours 🟠⭐️🟩

This time dad got roped into the photoshoot, the vision being a recreation of the countless times that I fed the ducks with grandma and granddad, and one of my favourite photos from my childhood 🌼🌼
