News: Knitting and Stitching Show 2024!!

As annual attendees of the Stitch Festival in March, me and mum have been itching to get to the October Knitting and Stiching show at Ally Pally and this year was the year we finally made it!!! And WHAT a day it’s been!!!

But … it wouldn’t be a crafty day out without mentioning the wonderful people I bump into along the way!!! I’ve had so many lovely conversations today with fellow crafters – events like these always remind me how grateful I am to be part of such a loving and supportive community 🥰

It is ALWAYS a pleasure to be greeted with one of Kite’s big bear hugs!!!! and I have already started my gorgeous green (yellow) yarn so will be posting some wip pics in due course 👀 @the_yarnwhisperer

Whilst deciding whether to cave and buy some MORE plushie yarn I bumped into a wonderful crocheter and bonded over our love for plushie yarn !!!! (and our disgust with a certain James C Brett yarn – IYKYK 😅)

Catching up with Diana @thecrochetchain on all things crafty and good for the soul is always so wonderful 🫶

And of course mum for coming along to yet another craft festival! 🤩 we were both proudly wearing KBK bits and bobs and even some of my gorgeous grandma’s creations – I don’t know how many times I spoke about grandma today but it just never gets easier knowing how much I wish she was here to experience all of this with us 😔

I’m just so pleased we can continue to do her proud together ❤️
