News: A Sad Start to 2024
my pops lost his battle with cancer today. his last wish was that I made him ‘something that would go with him’ and I now consider this to be the most special custom order I will ever receive. I made these bracelets, one for pops, matching ones for my mum and aunt and one for myself. I was able to give them to him just a few days ago. I used the last few bits of my grandmas yarn in her special red colour so we could all be matching and have a piece of grandma and pops with us wherever we go.
the only thing that is bringing me comfort now is knowing that pops is with grandma again, and has 10 years of some serious catching up to do (she’s gonna be sick of him, just like the good old days!)
so here’s to grandma and pops, together again at last ❤️
